Mitchell® warrants to the original purchaser that its rods are free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Mitchell® is not responsible for normal wear and tear, for products used commercially or for failures caused by accidents, abuse, alteration, modification, misuse or improper care. This applies to either rods purchased separately or as a combo unit.
Mitchell® does not offer repair or replacement parts for rods. If your rod failed due to a manufacturing defect and is still under warranty, we will be happy to replace it with a new rod of the same or comparable model. If your rod is within the original warranty period, Mitchell® will need to inspect your rod to determine the nature of the defect.
Rods NOT covered under warranty may also be submitted for replacement for a nominal fee. Please contact us directly for details.
Please return your rod to us via UPS or Fed-Ex. And, remember to keep your tracking number. Package your rod in a disposable container, as we do not return rod tubes. Send your complete damaged rod, a brief description on how your rod broke, a dated sales receipt and money order payable to Mitchell® for $9.95 postage and handling to the address below. Also include a daytime phone number along with your full name and physical address for Fed-Ex return delivery (we cannot return to a P.O. Box).
If after inspection, we determine that the Mitchell® rod was defective in material or workmanship, we will replace it with a new rod of the same or comparable model without additional charge.
